HBRA of CT is the statewide component of four local HBRAs in Connecticut.
The state association’s Board of Directors, Senior Officers, committees, councils, and task groups, working together as a team with professional staff, offer HBRA members many opportunities to solve industry problems and promote its growth, upholding the highest degree of professionalism, integrity, work ethic, association management expertise and industry knowledge. Lobbying the state legislature and agencies takes the forefront of the duties for the HBRA of CT. Whether it is working with allied and other interest groups to affect sound public policies or setting the record straight in the media to support our advocacy role, the HBRA of CT is affecting a positive public opinion of the industry.

The Home Builders & Remodelers Association (“HBRA”)
A professional trade association of members engaged in single-family and multifamily residential new construction, remodeling, land development activities, and light commercial construction. Our membership consists of builders, remodelers, land developers, suppliers, manufacturers, subcontractors, architects, engineers, attorneys, lenders, real estate brokers, and many other industry professionals.
The HBRA of Connecticut is part of the National Association of Home Builders (“NAHB”) family, along with Connecticut’s local home builders and remodelers associations.
To successfully compete, today’s businesses need to keep on top of consumer trends, new construction methods, new technology and materials, codes and standards, potential markets, sales and marketing and business management skills, networking opportunities and access to captive audiences, financial markets and lending trends, legislation, regulations and legal decisions. It takes a lot of work and the HBRA exists to help its members – PLUS, we offer GL/Builders Risk/WC insurance to qualified contractors and product discounts and rebates that pay for your dues investment many times over.
